Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish and half-English woman was born on April 16th, 1996 in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychology. The father of her was Argentine and has Scottish as well as English roots. The mother of Taylor-Joy is Spanish with English roots. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children, four are from Taylor's father's prior marriage. Buenos Aires was her home up until she was six years old, and the family relocated into Victoria within London. According to Taylor-Joy the relocation was difficult and she refused to learn English to the hope of moving back to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she needed to go to after she left Northlands. Then, she was enrolled at Queen's Gate School to study dance and perform in productions of the school. In her 16th year she left the school to pursue a profession as an actress full-time. Taylor-Joy's ambition to become an acting star began in the early years of her life.
