Charissa Thompson
Thompson quit FOX Sports in 2010 and performed double duty as host of both Versus and Yahoo Sports. She anchored Versus' NHL studio coverage and produced web-based content for the highly trafficked Yahoo platform, leading the website's coverage of high-profile sporting events like the 2010 Winter Olympics, FIFA World Cup, Super Bowl XLV as well as the BCS National Championship. Its success on these two stages led her to being hired by ESPN as one of its hosts on the brand new afternoon program "Numbers Never Lie" in August 2011. The show was later changed towards "SportsNation," she enjoyed an extended run of great success. The network was shut down for FS1's launch on Los Angeles, May 2013 before returning home to Los Angeles. Thompson as a sports lover in her core, has displayed impressive flexibility in navigating the world of entertainment television. She was hired as a co-host for"Extra," the Hollywood Newsmagazine "Extra" on June of 2014 after several part-time jobs. Her filming took place in Universal Studios and also worked at award shows, celebrity occasions, and other events.
